Social Initiative
Winter is a season when staying warm at home means drinking hot teas and coffee, cuddling up in warm blankets, and quilts. However, it is a struggle to survive in the subzero weather for people who live on the streets. Even receiving one meal a day and something to cover their body seems like a fantasy when they are far from hot food or warm blankets.
However, the SBK Social and Educational Society was prepared to face the harsh mountain winters. Similar to previously this winter, we staged a blanket donation campaign where we provided dry rations and premium warm blankets to the disadvantaged living in harsh conditions.
Our illustrious NGO members and volunteers work hard to connect with as many disadvantaged people as possible throughout the city.
Additionally, we advised them to remain in "Rain Basera" because the freezing temperatures could be harmful to them. Our society makes constant efforts to assist those who are truly in need.
